Our Fourth Graders have begun the first steps in creating portraits of early American figures who were important in founding our country. Flags were painted as a first step. Students chose from a variety of flags from American History... Next students will research and decide whose portrait they would like to create. This portion will be added via stencil. Mrs. Dunbar and Mrs. Radford recently attended a professional learning in November where they studied a modified process of stenciling/ silkscreening with fellow CSD art teachers.
