F.AVE 5th graders will soon begin discussions on Guernica. This painting, a commissioned piece created by Pablo Picasso was his response to the bombing of the tiny Spanish town of Guernica in 1937. Picasso at the time was living in Paris, an expat he was extremely vocal about his disagreements with the Spanish government.
