Kids looked at the art of American Painter/ Printmaker Jim Dine. We talked about his style and focused on his drawings of tools. Students were allowed to trace the outline of objects but were then required to study the art materials very carefully to add as much detail as possible. The results were fantastic! This idea was taken from This Blog. Next week students will add watercolor to their drawings!
