Eric Carle Study Part I

Every Year we study the works of Eric Carle. My new favorite book recently published by the artist is : The Artist Who painted the Blue Horse ( It's a study on the fauvist painter Franz Marc)

Here are some pictures of the collage process. The lesson took us about 4 weeks to complete.

We created paint paper using simple printing techniques. This was the most fun. The students worked in pairs created large collaborative sheets of painted and stamped texture that would later be cutup into squares and shared with the entire Kindergarten.
