Taught this surrealism lesson to my 3rd graders this year. My first attempt at teaching the subject and the artist. I got the lesson idea from an art teacher in Prairie Town, Canada.
If I could do the lesson again- I would make these much smaller and use marker instead of paint. I think we used 12x18 paper. I think it would serve as a great creativity exercise for students in the beginning of the year.
