Eiffel Tower
In kindergarten students study symbols. What better symbol to focus on then The Eiffel Tower- The symbol of Paris!
The tower has such an exciting story behind it that really grabs the imaginations of the kids. Broken down into simple shapes and forms we compared the Tower to an upside down Y or Letter A covered in Xs.
We started out painting lines using black tempera . On day two we added color with tempera paints and or oil pastels. Every now and then I see the tower popping in up in other pieces of art. :)
